I am very interested in your discussion of the Fore Family. In 1870, when George W. Penley returned to Buncombe County, a William Fore age 17 was living in the home with George and Adeline Penley. Rev George Penley was a Circuit Rider for the Holston Conference and had been in southwest Virginia, during the 1860's. Do you know who William Fore is?
