Hi Rebecca, is your Cahrles Stuart relatd to my line, which is Nathaniel who married Mary? There were 2 Stewart lines that I know of in the Buncombe County, area. Mine and the line of Marty Grant. Iam familiar with his line, somehow his and mine connect in GA. Charles is a name used frequently in my line. Nathaniel had a son named Charles born 1770's, after that there are also many Charles' into the late 1800's. Nancy Brittian was the daughter of James Britian and Delilah Stringfield of Rowan County, Nc. Other surnames that connect with my line are: Prather/Prator, Praytor, Peek, Hyde,Cockerham, Burris, Rotten, Hawks, Hardin, Bledsoe, Keith, Dean, Scott,Norman, Rayburn, and Holder.
