That is what I do not know. She was either widowed or unmarried by the time she shows up in Cherokee Co in 1840. She died after the 1860 census. She was, however, a founding member and very active in the Hanging Dog Church. I would think that of an unwed mother in that era. The two children that I know of are William S.(b1811) and Harriet M.(b1822)
