Looking for information on John Wood b.abt 1868, believed to have been from Pittsylvania Co. VA and moved to the Broad River area. Is this in VA or NC? It is known that the family lived in SC for awhile before 1800. His sons during the move to NC were John, William, Moses, Bartholomew and Thomas. Some of his sons later went to Muhlenberg Co. KY,about 1800-1805: Bartholemew, Thomas and Moses on to Warrick Co. Ill. by 1830 and Joseph on to Sullivan Co. MO.by 1833.
