I was very interested in the Bible record of Ms. Brownlow's. I believe that I may be descended from Aaron's son Matthew. I noticed that you had him as being married to Nancy Cunningham, per the Bible record I suppose. I would certainly love to know if this correct. Would you happen to know of anyone who could verify if Matthew had a daughter also named Nancy (born ca 1821-24), that was married April 24, 1851 to William Edmonds in the Weaverville area of Buncombe County? I can trace my family back to this Nancy, but in the 20 years I have been researching, I have never been able to find out who her parents were. In the book called 'The Patton Compendium" by now deceased Dr. David Agricola, he states that Aaron's son Matthew was married to a Mary possibly Pittman and that my Nancy was their first child. He had a separate appendix to that book that he apparently did not publish that had his documentation in it, but would give info from it to anyone that asked. But now that he is deceased, and his family do not want to continue with his legacy, we have no way to know what his documentation is. Any help you can give is greatly appreciated. Where did you get the info that the Cunninghams were from Donegal? Do you have documentation? Any help is greatly appreciated!
