Seeking Palmer relatives of George H. Palmer who married Catherine Owens 1819 in Haywood Co. NC. George b ca 1791 in NC. Census records in Carroll Co. GA indicate that George's parents were born in NY but that may not be correct as we all know census records sometime stray from the facts. Catherine Owens was the daughter of Owen Owens and Elizabeth McDowell. George and Catherine moved to Habersham Co. GA ca 1823 along with Daniel McDowell, William Owens, and possibly other families from Buncombe/Haywood Cos NC.
Please....someone tell me who George's parents or siblings were.
