I discovered Leah Williams Cobb (c.1790-aft.1850)while researching my husband's paternal grandmother's COFFMAN and COBB ancestry. Therefore we have no knowledge of WILLIAMS males in his line. Not long after their 1811 marriage in Jefferson Co. TN, Howel and Leah Williams Cobb moved to what was then Hopkins Co. KY. I have reason to believe Leah may have had at least one brother (Burrel Williams, born in VA c.1780)who was in Hopkins Co. KY by the 1810 census. Two other WILLIAMS heads of households on that 1810 census (who may have also been related) were Jonathan Williams and Thomas Williams.
