I'm descended from CHANDLERs who lived in Buncombe/Yancey Co. I have Zachariah CANDLER's census listings for 1820 and 1830 in my database because I felt there might be a possibility that the census taker had erred. However, I must add that I've never seen any connection between Zachariah and the other CHANDLERs AND there are also CANDLER families in the area.
You might consider looking for CANDLER connections.
