Seeking information on David D. ALLEN of Brunswick Co., NC. and his relationship to the REGISTER family. He was b. 12 aug 1804 in Wilmington, NC and md. 13 Feb 1839 to Calista Ann HUGGINS.
In the 1850 NC Federal Census, Brunswick Co., NC, living with Calista and David was Calista's sister, Clarissa HUGGINS wife of James W. Newbold.
Was Calista HUGGINS a second wife to David D. ALLEN? Did Calista have children? What is the connection between David D. ALLEN and Gibson REGISTER? David D. ALLEN was the administrator of Gibson REGISTER's Estate in 1849, and put up bond along with Joseph GREEN and Jas. H. PRITCHETT for guardianship for Lizzie REGISTER'S (Gibson's Sister) children when she died in 1847. Lizzie Register was md. to
Henry H. Williams.
