Seeking some informtion on a Luke HILBURN of Brunswick Co., NC.
I have a Brunswick County, NC court record from July 1820 that reads...."James WILLIAMS who was bound in his recognizance to appear at the term to give Security for his good behavior came into court and entered into bond agreeable to Keep the Peace generally expecially towards LUKE HILBORN-Bond file"

The 1850 Brunswick Co., NC Census has a James W, WILLIAMS age 12 years living in the household of Mary Hillburn age 52 years. How is this Child related to Mary HILLBURN? Is Luke HILBURN related to the Mary HILLBURN in this record? Do you know of any animosity between James WILLIAMS and Luke HILBURN?

HH 171-171
Mary Hillburn 52 F 115 NC
James M. 22 M NC
Elizabeth 17 F NC
Narcissus 15 F NC
Catherine 11 F NC
John 8 M NC
