Brothers: PETER & DAVID BUCHAN, ancestors NC 1700s

Peter Buchan, B ~1757 (spouse Margaret Patterson, b. Scotland; they had one child: also named Margaret); David Buchan b. ~1760. Peter and David had a brother, John Buchan, b. ~1753. All 3 probably born in Scotland and settled in Moore or Robeson Counties, North Carolina. Looking for children of David and Peter and any records leading to my GGgrandfather, Hector Buchan.

Either Peter or David is probably parent (or grandparent) of my great-great-grandfather, Hector Buchan, b. 1799 in NC, m. Elizabeth (nee unknown, b. 1804). Hector and Elizabeth lived in MS (by, and in, 1819), and later in Washington Parish LA, and Winn Parish LA until Hector passed away probably in 1871/1872 in Winn. Hector and Elizabeth had children: David, James A., Elizabeth, and possibly a 4th, John, though not confirmed.
