Can you suggest a place or method to start looking for information on my grandfather's family? His name was Kirby Devon Ward and was from Whiteville NC, he moved to Laurinburg in the late 1930's, married Ruby Gladys Smith, played baseball and worked for the cotton mill in both towns. He had a sister named Modest and a brother Virgil. He died in Laurinburg in 1972.
