John and Ephraim/Ephriam Branton, 1750-1778

John Branton was said to be on the county tax list for 1763. He may have been the father of Ephraim Branton, born 1750 in Bladen County and died 12 March 1778 in Columbus County. Can anyone provide any documentation or resources for these two men?
