I am working on EBENEZER B. PLUMMER born 1824-27 in North Carolina (what town?).Was he married to Sarah Mims????
Ebenezer died in the Civil War in 1862.
He lived in Darlington County, SC prior to the Civil War.
My great grandfather was George Wade Plummer born Nov. 18 1853 in Darlington County,SC and died Oct 3, 1944 in Darlington County, SC.
According to the 1860 census records for Darlington County, SC, George Wade Plummer lived in the home of Ebenezer B. Plummer. On George Wade Plummer's obituary, W. M. Plummer is listed as his father.W.M. Plummer and Ebenezer Plummer were brothers. Their parents were Charles Plummer(1771-1858) from Maryland and Mary Boyd from NC, MAYBE Guilford County. They MIGHT have lived in the Rockingham area of NC prior to migrating to SC....
One could believe that George Wade was living with his uncle for some reason at the time of the 1860 census.
Any information on these Plummers is welcome.
I have not YET connected to Bladen County Plummers.
