Father or Mother of Franklin Davis, Bladen CO. NC

my gggrandfather was Franklin Davis, he married Sarah Frances Tolar in 1868.
They had 8 children: William, Ella, Julia, Samuel, Emmett, Wade, John and Lucy.
I am looking for information on Franklin Davis. I am looking for his parents. I do know he was born in NC, but am not sure of the area. He did live in Bladen Co., after marrying Sarah and died there.
Frank was born 3-8-1837.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
