Thanks for correcting me. Who were E.D. Nobles and M.J. Edge and how were they connected to Isaac and Edy, if any?

The 1810 census shows two Henry Davises, one - the elder,(1,1,0,0,1 - 1,1,2,0,1 - 0) living near a John Carroll and the other (2,0,1,0,0 - 0,0,1,0,0 - 0) living near William and Edward Davis. I note the elder Henry must have died or left Bladen sometime bet. 1830-1840. I had always thought the Henry closest to John Carroll was "our" Henry.

I now see the one living near William and Edward is the Henry of whom we speak, as the elder does appear too old for probably being a brother of Isaac and born (bef. 1765) too soon for a son of Sampson. The younger Henry is listed as "of 16 and under 26" so his birth was bet. 1784-1794. Those family census figures also seem to dispell the misinformation I'd previously sent.

PS. Did you note the cemetery which was north and east of Dickenson Meadow just off NC Hwy 242? I'll try to get by there ASAIC and see if any Davis's are buried there; I'll let you know. RKD
