In looking over this forum from Beaufort County, I must ask. I have a Batson Whitehurst COX b. VA 1804 who migrated to AR where he raised two families.

I have also been working in the WHITEHURST forum with no luck except, perhaps that he is a descendant of the Simon WHITEHURST/Argent COX lineage.

I've not been able to trace his parents or siblings.

I believe firmly however, he is from either the WHITEHURST or BATSON lineage.

I've been looking for a female WHITEHURST who could possibly married a COX/COCKS in the late 1700's. His mother may be a Nancy (WHITEHURST) COX but no-one seems to know where the COX came in. She is also said to have married a FONVIELLE but there seems to be lack of documentation there also.

Any connections or leads from this forum? Are there any possible undocumented females who could fit the profile for the time-period?

And, are there and given name's of Jasper in the WHITEHURST line?
