Thank you so much for your reply. I have information on William, that you mentioned. William had a brother, Richard, a member of the House of Burgess in Bath. He married Elizabeth Rigney about 1735. He prosecuted a man named Slade, who was the executor of John Rigney's will.
I have been told for years that Richard Rigbie's will was filed in Beaufort Co. in 1741. I believe that I am a victim
of a hoax. One M.K.Rigsby says that he has this information, but will not discover it to me. One place I have not researched is old copies of The North Carolinian said to have wills published nowhere else.
