Do these Jacksons somehow tie in to a Thomas Jackson born about 1680 in Northampton County NC? and died about 1746 in Bertie County, NC? He lived on the "Mt Garriot Plantation". His father was said to have been Jeremiah Jackson II.
This Thomas married a Hester whose first husband might have been a Hammond.
I have seen you looking for Jacksons also and was hoping to make a connection.
Thanks,
SGM
