Looking for the Jacksons that started out in the Beaufort/Hyde precinct abt 1716 and eventually leave Beaufort for Washington Co. NC sometime between 1840 and 1850. My basic info shows an Isaac Jackson in the Beaufort/Hyde precinct and had a will dated 1716, followed by Thomas, then another Isaac, then Eleazer (believe the move from Hyde to Beaufort took place with Eleazer - he was born prior to 1790), then another Isaac, then Levi Jackson (born 1805 and who appears in the 1850 Washington Co. census). Levi had a son, William Henry Jackson, who married Elizabeth Collins and I descend from their line. Anyone out there have info on this line of Jacksons? I especially find the name "Eleazer" fascinating and want to know more. Thanks.
