Peter Adams, the father of Wyriott Cason Adams of Laurens County, Georgia, was a son of Peter Adams who married Jane, a daughter of John Cason and Eleanor Pinkett. Other siblings were Benjamin and Sumner Adams The elder Peter Adams died relatively young and the children lived with their Cason grandparents. John Cason moved to Burke County, Georgia from Pitt county, North carolina where he died about 1812. He may have married again, because the estate was not finally settled until 1818. Eleanor Pinkett died about 1791. He was born about 1728 and was a Rev. War Sol. Colson Adams married Rachel Cason, the daughter of John. The Adams boys were brothers and sons of Archibald Adams, Sr.
