Hugh & Betty Grimes sent me this today and i am hoping that someone knows something about Robert Grimes.
ROBERT GRIMES bought 100 acres for 12 pounds , March 1st 1757, from John MEEKS (looks like Meeks could be Muks)of Beauford Co., NC,
So is this Robert Grimes the same Robert Grimes that wrote the Will in Jones Co 1789??
Beauford Co., is next to Craven Co., Nc and Jones was taken from Craven Coin 1779, he may not have moved to Jones just that the county lines were changed?
Does anyone know??

( Jones Co.,NC )Robert's wife was Rebecca, had 3 dau's and 2 sons, Nancy of age in 1789 and Samuel was of age also, dau's Sarah & Charlotte and son Allen under legal age.
