Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Thomas Pinkett patented 270 Ac. in 1740, but died before 1755, when the tax list has:
Elliner Pinckett ; Wm Moor ; Wm Daniel Pinckett ; Thomas Pinckett & 2 negr.
In 1762 this household was headed by John Cason, and also included Zackeriah; Wm Daniel had left. In 1763 the household was headed by Jean Williams, also included Wm. Williams, John Cason, Thomas and Zacharia Pinkett. But tax was paid for 5 males - I can only guess 'Jean' was some error - if there had been a Jean, wife of Wm Williams, she would not have been listed in the tax anyway.
Wm. Daniel Pinkett died before 1775, wife Ann.

I'd like to know more about the children of this family, if you know them.
