My great grandmother, Eliza Jane Franklin Poteat, was the daughter of Samuel Ausborn Franklin(son of Isaac Franklin(b.1805-1810)) and Nancy Erwin (Ervin). Nancy Erwin (Ervin)'s parents were Hugh Erwin(b.1812) and Jemimia ???(b.1813). I am looking for information about Hugh and Jemimia's parents. I am hoping someone who is researching this Franklin family may have knowledge of Hugh and Jemimia's parents, siblings, or children. They lived in western North Carolina - Burke County, Watauga County, Avery County, Iredell County. Thanks for any help.
