Bass-Saffley-Moon etc.

Looking for information on an L.A. White (initials may vary) who may have been an attorney in Ashe Co., NC for a Surry Co. family. He had power of attorney for a sister of one of my ancestors, and worked very hard to prove her father's service in the Revolutionary War.

Also looking for information on the family of Edward BASS Jr who married Mary/Polly SAFFLEY. His father was Edward BASS Sr who served in the War of the Revolution, and was married to H. MOON (generally believed to be Hannah) in 1780. I do not know the names of Mary/Polly SAFFLEY's parents nor anything about them.

The BASS family was present in the NC counties of Dobbs, Ashe and Surry, predominantly, from what I can tell. I would love to make connections with anyone else researching this family, or with anyone willing to do some legwork for me, as I cannot visit the locations myself. Also would love to talk to anyone who has extensive knowledge of the area or of researching the area, as I'm in need of advice. It seems much has been destroyed.

I have vitals on most of these people, if anyone wants to find out if they are the same people.
