Orphan or Bastardy suits regarding Griffin or Copeland

I'm trying to locate any Orphan or Bastardy court cases between the Griffin and Copeland families. The years that I’m most interested in are roughly between 1770 and 1783. Looking for the parents of Ambrose Copeland. He was born in North Carolina between the dates listed above, county unknown. I have been DNA linked to several Griffin families that appear in Anson County, and adjacent counties of Union, Mecklenburg, and Chatham NC.

Any help in Court records, Will's or other documentation is helpful. Ambrose Copeland has been my Brick Wall for many many years.

Some of the Griffin families later moved to nearby SC just across the NC boarder to the counties of Greenville, Spartanburg, Lancaster and Union SC.
