JAMES ROGERS Sr. and Jr. of Anson Co. NC on 1779 Montgomery Co. VOTERS LIST

Can anyone tell me if any of these Rogers were on the earlier 1763 Anson Co. NC Tax List ?

JAMES ROGERS, Sr. is my 5th G. Grandfather and his son JAMES ROGERS, Jr. ( probably shown as JAS. RODGERS ? below ) is my 4th G. Grandfather who is in Montgomery Co. NC by 1779, and on the 1790 and 1800 Montgomery Co. NC Census. We believe Jr. may be the eldest male in W. Rogers 1810 Montgomery Co. NC Census. Later W. Rogers ( William L. Rogers b. 1770 Montgomery Co.NC moved to Carroll Co. TN where he died and left a will in 1842. William L. Rogers is my GGG Grandfather.

1779 List of Votes, Montgomery Co. NC

NATL. ROGGERS
JAS. ROGERS, SR.
ISOM ROGERS

Neither Isom or Nathaniel Rogers are on the later 1790 census in Anson, and we know that our Rogers were in Montgomery Co. NC by 1779 as their land probably lay along Long Creek, Riles Creek, and Curl Tail Creek per their land index listings in name of James Rogers. The upper part of Anson was taken to create Montgomery Co. in 1779.

Our recent DNA test results of our ROGERS line shows we have many DNA MATCHES in VA/ NC/ SC/ AL/ MS/ TN/ AR / TX, and that we are also haplogroup tested showing that our ancient haplogroup is R1b1b2a1b5 indicating we are CELTIC not ENGLISH. ( refer to MacRory surname in Scotland and we know MacRory surname was changed in Anson Co. NC during the Rev. War to RORIES ). The MacRORY surname is associated with the MACRORY CLAN in Scotland who left Scotland for IRELAND and became the IRISH Mercenaries and then changed their MacRORY surname to ROGERS. We see no MacRORY's are left in Scotland but they did arrive in the US and some were in NC.

Can anyone tell me more on JAMES ROGERS, Sr. of Anson Co. NC in 1774 and if he has earlier records there than 1774 when he signed the 1774 Anson Co. NC petition to build a county road along with his son JAMES ROGERS, Jr. and an unknown JOHN ROGERS and many others.
