Gary, Thank you for your response. I don't as now see a connection to my family line but suspect it likely anyway. The Richardson family ties in several times with my grandfathers brothers and sister as well. Richardson genealogy is available at New River Notes, written by Jeff Weaver. I'm not finding the names you refer to in any of the Ashe or Alleghany censuses that I have access to or burial or marriage records of either county. Would these likely be of Wilkes County or Virginia? I have recently acquired some census images that I haven't had the opportunity to index yet, so if you could give me some indication of a state or county I'd be happy to see what I can find. The records I currently have available for public access are available at http://www.geocities.com/tincowboy I recently visited Carolina and do have numerous additions to make as soon as I get them organized and typed up. Cynthia's intemit in a Richardson graveyard and the close relationship of Perry and Richardson (though not of my direct line) indicates a likelyhood of a connection somewhere. I have retained a copy of your post to my personal files for further research. Thanks again!
