I'd like to share my experiences with Alexander County Ancestry Assosciation. (If they do in fact exist).

On March 29, 2000 I sent a check for $10 along with a note with my name and address (Michigan) to ACAA at the address indicated. They cashed my check within two weeks of my sending it, but to date (July 12, 2000) I have heard absolutely nothing from them.

On June 7, 2000, I sent them a nice letter explaining my connection and roots to Alexander County. (I have ancestors there back to the 1700's)
I asked when they might be sending me something or acknowledging my membership. I received no reply.

I don't know what the problem could possibly be.

My name is Fred Daniels, I can trace my ancestry back to Yerby (Yearby) Daniel and Jane Stewart in Alexander County in the 1700's.

If anyone knows why Alexander County Ancestry Association is treating me this way I would love to know why.
