I have just posted a question of my own referring to the Mundays of Hiddenite, Alexander County. My great great grandmother married Lawson Munday in 1887. She had already given birth to my great grandfather William Pinkney Carl Looper out of wedlock in 1876, at the age of 17. We think that she sent William away to live with friends in preperation to marry and never saw him again. I am wondering if Lawson Munday may be connected in your research somewhere. I would love to know if they had any children together that our family may have never known of. Any information you ahve would be greatly appreciated and good luck in your ongoing search!
