Seeking info to help find parents of my Robert Cheek.
ROBERT1 CHEEK was born Bet. 1795 - 1799 in possibly Warren County NC. He married (1) MARTHA ANN SYKES 1824 in Orange County NC, daughter of JOHN F SYKES. He married (2) REBECCA WHITLOCK May 28, 1841 in Orange County NC, daughter of NANCY WHITLOCK.
Children of ROBERT CHEEK and MARTHA SYKES are:
2. i. HENRY ALVIS2 CHEEK, b. October 01, 1828; d. October 17, 1899.
ii. MARTHA A. CHEEK, b. 1832.
iii. REBECCA CHEEK, b. 1835.
iv. MARY E. CHEEK, b. 1838.
Children of ROBERT CHEEK and REBECCA WHITLOCK are:
v. CHARLES CHRISTMAS2 CHEEK, b. 1842.
vi. GEORGE M. CHEEK, b. 1844.
vii. JOHN FRANKLIN CHEEK, b. July 23, 1845.
I have more information on the descendants of this line, but am posting this in hopes others have researched back to this Robert (as there are many other Roberts around the turn of the century) and might be willing to collaborate.
