hello im jorge w. moran. my mother is from puerto rico. i was born in hormigueros but left to the states at a very young age. my mothers name is nilsa nazario troche. she also has a brother by the name of nelson nazario troche. my mothers parents (mis abuelos - who have both passed away) were juan nazario y agripina troche. my grandmother was originally from hormigueros, i beleive jaguita same place where my mother was born & raised, and my grandfather, juan nazario lived most of his life in mayaguez...but my mother says hes family was probably from sabana grande o cabo rojo? its very hard to trace the geology from her because unfortunately she did not have a very good relationship with my late grandpa....and her family was not very united. my grandma (agripina) died in the late 80's at the age of 77 and my grandpa (juan) died approx 5 years ago and he was close to 100 years ago, they could never really pinpoint his exact age. we took care of both till they died. they gave birth to my mother very late around their 40's....my mother is 62. she says that she only remembers the name of my great grandfather, they use to call him "pancho", possibly his real name was jose nazario but shes not sure. she does remember though that pancho was known to be a really mean man lol according to what she overheard growing up., she never met in him in person, only saw him once, and it was at his funeral, she recalls him being a very skinny man. Hope this helps... if any one can help put my genealogy together i would really appreciate it. Thanks!
