What indication do you have that your Frederick Larken "Frank" Nay is from the New Hampshire Nay family. I think that is necessary before we go too far into your research material. If Samuel, his father was born in New Hampshire, then he surely belongs to our Nay family from there. There was only two Nay families in the early years of the US. An Irish family from NH and the other, a German family in WVA.
If Samuel is from NH, I can look into my genealogy information and see if I can find a Samuel connected to John Nay Jr.'s(who I descend)siblings. I suspect that will be your connection.
