Cassandra,
In answer to your query about Ormus Bates Nay as a twin or triplet, the explanation follows.
The twin/triplet question has been batted around a lot in the family. We all are pretty sure that it has been a computer mistake, as most of the Nay's on the John Jr. and Thirza line seem to believe that the boys were twins, which one died soon after birth. Ormus Bates was the one who lived. The reason that they were suspected as triplets, is the fact that many people have sent the information into the LDS church for temple work to be done for sealing to families. Some misspelled the name, and so the computer picks up the fact that three children with the same birth date were from that family, and not just two. They were twins.
I am related to John Jr., his father, but by a second wife, Lucy Thankful Pine. I am a Granddau. of their son, Elmer Carr Nay. If you don't receive the flyer, keep it touch with me and I will e-mail or snail mail one to you.
