Dear Vincent,

I've been working on the Naves family tree since the 1950's. My grandfather told me that part of our family came from southern France, however, you are the first Naves I've found there!
I am Joni Naves Neal. Our family came to the United States about 1915 from Asturias, (northern)Spain. My grandfather, Joeseph Naves(who was blonde with blue eyes) was a miner near Riosa, Spain. There are lots of family members still living in Piedras Blancas and Oviedo, Spain. He had 12 children and they have settled in Missouri, California and Nevada - hundreds of grandchildren.
I have found the Joseph Naves family in England (bn 1825) and later moved to New Brunswick, Canada. It appears that his family also moved to the U.S. There are Naves's in Mexico, Brazil and Chile beginning in the 1700's.
I would love to welcome you into our family.

PS: I'd like to see the family crest. Is it online?
