Ruby, my grand father, Jacob Nave, 1814-1890 had a sister named Elizabeth. He settled on the White River near the mo-ark line north of Lead Hill, Arkansas. A bend in the White River was called the "Jake Nave Bend" until it was covered by the Bull Shoals Dam in 1952.
WE have searched for his father's name to no avail. His mother was Mary and she had remarried after the death of Jacob and Elizabeth's father.
Are we connected? Have quite a bit of info on my Jacob and his descendants would gladly share.
I live in Springfield, Mo. Let me hear from you. It is possible that we have met a few years back at a NAVE reunion
near Eureka Springs, Arkansas.
