Hola Navarrettes!

I was born in Fabens, Texas and raised in Van Horn, Texas. I am from the Navarrette family from Coyame, Chihuahua. My father is Israel Melendez Navarrette and my mother is Margarita Aguilar Navarrette. My dad was born in Sierra Blanca, Texas to Jose and Panfila Navarrette. My grandpa had several brothers and cousins scattered throughout West Texas and the southwest region of the United States and Northern Mexico. The only kin folk from old school times I remember is my Tio Natividad (Tive) from Van Horn, Texas. I also remember some of my Grandfather's cousins from Sweetwater, Texas but I don't remember their names. It good to know there's plenty of the Navarrette's still checking in to see what's up with clan! Sylvia Welch ( daughter of Mundo and Juana) and Venessa ( duaghter of my Tio Reyes) are indeed cousins as my Tio Reyes, Tomas Navarrette and Juana Ortega are first cousins.
