we'll I'll be, hello cousin we were from Aldama I read when part of the family moved to Coyame,who is or was your parents and grandparents are you from Anastacio and Valdomeda Fonseca side of the family or are you from my uncle Pedro, as you have done research back you know that we start probably with Mariano Navarrete and Maria Gertrudes Gonzales and that the first mention of the area starts in 1742,1770's Gertrudes Navarrete husband Julio Gadea later we find she is daughter of Mariano and Maria Gertrudes Gonzales 1780's-1790's Jose,Juan,Pedro,Manuel sons of Mariano and Gertrudes 1800-1810 Jorge is born how do we know this, in 1842 Anastacio getting married to Refugeio Contreas, father jorge Navarrete and I believe Juana Rodriguez, Anastacio and Refugeio Contreas are my fathers grandparent my fathers parents were Roman Contreas Navarrete and Maria De Jesus Saldnia Rodriguez, my uncles and aunts not in order Cruz,Jose,Telesforo,Manuel,Juan,Pedro,my father Mauricio and Rafael the lady's all Marias Luz,Quinteria,Asuncion,Eva,Elena and Rafaela as you see I was named after two uncles and a step-grandfather Diego Lozano also fron Aldama on my mother's side we are Caldera and Mendia our grandfather Manuel Caldera came from Chihuahua before that from Zacatecas she was from Aldama Maria Saldnia Aguilar in Aldama from the late 1700's my grangfathers family go's back to about to about 1850's in Zacatecas
I'm glad I'm not the only one doing this Search, I'll tell you what I know we started out in the Basque country between France and Spain our name comes from the word Nafarrete of pre Roman time's and of Basque orgin it means plateau btween two valleys you first find our name in about 900A.D.look up Ignascio soldier Spain 1300's to 1492 or Navarrete's of Spain 1200's-1492 keep playing with varriation its there when you find Ignacio look in the picturers for the town of Navarrete,the house,chudch,and family crest look under explorers 1400's you'll find those who made it into the history books, under genealogy of Mexico the first Navarrete's and De Navarrete 1519 you find Alonso,Francisco,Pedro,and Louis in film dated 1537-1600,in 1540's you'll find Louis 1596 a Lady Navarrete 1621 the hacienda de Navarrete, about 1660's Nicolas Navarrete is born you will find in 1702-1703 Nicolas baptizing, his father is godfather also named Nicolas so take 40yrs off 1703 and you get about 1660;s twenty years each both to get old enough for children 1716 Mariano is Born, the area we are in is valle de Allende, San Bartolome Chihuahua, Mariano live's to be 99 yrs old died in 1816 Aldama Chihuahua, in 1750's? you find Maria Gertrudes Gonzales some daughters they are sent to an outpost 1742 priest burrying people 1770 Gertrudes Navarrete daughter of Mariano and Maria Gertrudes Gonzales she is wife of Julio Gardea, 1776 Mariano and Maria Gertrudes baptizing twins godparents Miguel Rodriguez and Francisca De la O later to be our grandparents late 1780's - 1790's sons of Mariano Jose,Pedro,Juan one other i believe one has to be father of Jorge born about 1800-1810 found in 1842 Anastacio marrying Refugeio Contreas the rest you know in 1912 my grandmother Maria De Jesus died my grandfather Roman Navarrete passed in 1916 thats when they started leaveing Mexico except I believe my uncle Pedro who went back to Aldama Uncle Jose went to Carlsbad New Mexico uncle Telesforo to Albuquerque New Mexico uncle Juan to Pixley California my father here to Bakersfield California I don't know what happened to uncle's Cruz,Manuel or Rafael and as for the lady's they got married change their last names I know some stayed in Aldama,Coyame and Julima Chihuahua but not sure one got married to Pedro Jurado she died he married one of the other one's, I believe in 1921 tia Rafaela baptizing a baby in Aldama from there I'm lost

John,Diego,Pedro,Caldera,Navarrette 2nd T added in 1716-1717 when we crossed in Juarez-El Paso Texas what do i want for this information when asked where you got it tell them you searched for most of it and that some you got from a cousin named Juan,Diego,Caldera,Navarrette/Navarrete the family calls me Pete
Ps give the others the information so they will know where we came from and where we started from as for the Indian in us I believe we have Mexica Indio were we Jews well everybody was according to the bible what the difference in our spelling of the name just depends what side of the mountain range we came from or who's doing the spelling
