I have been doing this for 6 yr.s you have to start with your mother and father and work back. go to a Mormon family history center and tell them what info. you have they will help you get started but you have to do the work no they will not talk religion unless you start it
all of us Navarrete/ Navarrette's come from the Basque country in Spain/France look under Navarrete's in Spain 1492-1300's or Ignasio soldier in Spain 1300's you will find our name starts about 900A.D.taken from the Basque word Nafarrete pre-Roman times look under explorers Navarrete who made it into the history books go to genealogy of Mexico you will find Cortez and other conqestadores sometimes it takes a while for it to load I have gotten all the way from us to the first ones Alonso,Francisco,Pedro, and Louis who you will find in 1540
but I can only connect to Nicolas Navarrete 1660 or there abouts next his son 1702 we start in Valle De Allende/ San Bartolome untill 1742? then to what is now Aldama Chihuahua Mexico until 1950's but some left in 1916 after grandfather died from there were in New Mexico, Arizona,California 3 missing don't know where they went
our branch men only starting at about 1660,Nicolas,father and son found in 1702 Nicolas, born about 1716 Marriano lived to 99yrs. old, three others Juan,Pedro, and Manuel ? found in 17980-1790's then Jorge 1800-1810 found in 1842 with son Anastacio getting married to Refugio Contreas my dads grandmother and grandfather my dads father and mother Roman and Maria De Jesus Rodriguez sons Cruz,Manuel,Pedro,Juan,Mauricio my father and Rafael daughters all Marias Quinteria, luz,Elena,Rafaela,Asuncion and Eva now us Mother Manuela Pena Caldera father Mauricio Rodriguez Navarrete yes our name was spelled with one T added 1916-1917 my brothers and sisters Andres,Jesuscita,Dionicio,Marcos, Mauricio Jr.,Luociano,Francisco,Maria Elena,Me John diego Pedro called Pete by family, Manuel and Reynaldo called Rey
