Patrick Slevin in my family tree was born in Cloghan, Co Offaly, in Ireland on 23rd October, 1893 and his father was Laurence Slevin, born in Nov 1858 and his father was John Slavin/Slevin also born in Co Offaly in 1832. Then Co Offaly was known as Kings County.

Patrick emigrated to USA shortly after his mother died, in 1907 on board the ss "saxonia" arriving in Boston on 26th Sept., 1907 and was headed for NY to stay with Mary Slevin, quoted as friend on the passenger list, but was possibly his aunt. He was later joined by his older brother Laurence, and according to my mother Nancy, their sister, they joined the Mounted Police in Canada.

That is all I know of them, except that at some point, their
youngest brother Joseph, also went to NY, but later returned to Dublin, where my cousin visited him in the 1960's.
