Joseph Naugle of Ligonier Valley,Pa. was married to Thankful Ginness(Gliness) ansd they had 15 children!
Joseph probably came to Westmoreland Co.(ligonier) in the early 1800's.
He had a land grant of 227 acres for military service in the Revolution.
There is a whole cemetery of Naugles in Somerset Co.
I wrote the names down but can't find them.
Simon Naugle also fought in the Rev. I believe he was Joseph's son. The Inn that Joseph ran still stands in Laughlintown,Pa.(just outside of Ligonier,Pa.-Rt.# 30,50 mi.East of Pittsburgh.)
