Obituary from the Wayne County Pennsylvania Herald Feb 1, 1900 , Mrs. Sarah (NAUGHTON) COLEMAN died at her home in this town (Honesdale) on Tuesday Jan 30, 1900 aged 90 years. She is survived by her son, John COLEMAN, a merchant, of Main St., and her daughter, Mrs. Timothy O'CONNELL of Second St. Her husband, David COLEMAN, died here many years ago (1866). The couple immigrated from Ireland (County Mayo) somewhere in the early 50's and resided here until they died. Mrs. COLEMAN was a very estimable woman in every way.
Note: Sarah NAUGHTON COLEMAN parents were John and Mary BROWN NAUGHTON from County Mayo/Sligo. Sarah and David COLEMAN children were Mary, Patrick and John all born in Co Mayo 1840-1846 probably in the Coolcran, Friarstown area of Kilbefad Parish Co Mayo.
