Hello Mary!

My great great grandfather is Patrick Naughton who married Mary Hogarty. I would love to exchange some infomation.

My understanding (?rumor) is the Naughton's may have come from Tuam in County Galway.

I have Patrick Naughton's father as Thomas and his mother as Catherine Kelley both from Galway.

Their daughter Catherine A. Naughton (landed in Boston May 1887) married Emmanuel DeFreitas (landed in Boston 1878 - nautralized 9/1898) and had my grandmother Mary Agnes DeFreitas (born 2/7/1898 in Dorchester Ma). She married my grandfather Timothy P. Noonan (born in Boston 3/14/1897). That side of my family moved from Dorchester to a brand new home at 16 Lincoln St in Milton, Ma.

Just begining this search so I would love to know what you have. I will look in the "history of Milton" book I have for your company.

It would be nice to hear from you

Tim Noonan
