I am trying to find information/family connections to a Jack
NAUGHTON, who was a policeman in Chicago, IL., ca. middle to late 1900's. Jack was married to a "Peg" (Peggy-or this could have been her nickname). I believe Jack's father or Grandfather may have immigrated from Limerick Co., Ireland and would have been a brother to John Naughton, who was born in Rathkeale, Limerick Co., Ireland in 1857. These brothers, along with 2 others, immigrated to the USA about 1876-77. John married in LaSalle Co., IL. A brother Michael never married. The other two brothers may have been Patrick and William-one with a possible connection to Jack. The four Naughton brothers apparently brought race horses over from Limerick Co., after the opening of the Maynard(?) Race Track in Chicago. If any of this sounds familiar to anyone researching the Naughton's, I would appreciate hearing from you.
