Looking for info about my grandfathers two brothers, the three of them left Yorkshire for the USA around 1890-95, and only my grandfather returned to the UK - around 1905 to look after his father and work the family farm.
My grandfather was George Arthur Nattress b.1871 and d.1952. Brothers were John b.1878 at Bishop Thornton, York and William b.1863 at Pickhill, York. They had another brother Robert b.1860, and two sisters Ann Elizabeth b.1870 and Sarah Jane b.1874.
Their parents were George Nattress b.1836 at Sandhutton/d.1914 and Elizabeth Barker b.1836 at Kilvington/d.1914, who on the 1881 British Census lived in a farm hindhouse at Roecliffe, York.
