Delilah Nations born abt 1787 in North Carolina, died about 1859, probably in Kentucky. She married George Wyatt, Sr., 7 Feb 1804 in Warren Co., Kentucky. He was born abt 1784 in South Carolina and died 29 Oct 1855 in Hopkins Co., KY. Their children were Elizabeth, Joshua, Mary Ann, George Jr., Delilah, Joseph P., Sydaham, Talitha, Matilda, Christopher, and Colby S.
The daughter, Delilah, was born 10 Dec 1812 in KY, married Uel Daniel Fox 4 Oct 1827 in Hopkins Co., KY, and died 3 Dec 1849 in Grayson Co., TX following the birth of her 8th child, James who was born 23 Nov 1849.
If there is a marriage of a Delilah Nations to Wm. Carter Lee, it would be someone other than the Delilah Nations who married a Wyatt. Also, Delilah Wyatt, who married Uel D. Fox would not have been referred to as Delilah Nations.
Uel D. Fox and Delilah Wyatt Fox were my GG Grandparents.
Some of this information was provided to me by another Fox descendant who lives in KY and has done extensive research on this family.
We believe that our Delilah Nations was the daughter of Nathan Nations and Tabitha Stevens, but I'm not sure of the sources for that. My files show that Nathan Nations was the son of Joseph Nations and Elizabeth Robbins, but I don't have any info on their parents.
