Daniel Nelson Nations, born about 1817 in Ala.,was the father of Thomas Jefferson Nations - who was the father of Joseph Calvin Andrew Nations.

I understand that Daniel's father's name was Joseph and also his grandfather's.

Daniel was my Great-great grandfather.
