This Joseph Nation is supposed to have travelled to yalobusha co Miss for the 1805 land lottery with his grandfather Joseph Nations and his dad, also Joseph. Your Joseph I believe is the one born in 1790 and died 1872. If you check the pendleton Co SC 1800 census you will find Joseph Sr and Jr born about 1730 and 1760. Of course its possible Joseph Sr had a late child, but I think the census records cast doubt on it. You will also find the Bartons in Pendleton Co SC 1800. They all left about 1804. My ancestor, Son Nathan of Joseph Sr B 1769 moved at thesame time to Warren Co KY then to MO. There should be a lot of info on this Joseph in this forum.
