Hartshorne, Bates settled in and around Harshorne OK
Mary Thomas Bates (Anna Nation(s) daughter) and William Robert Bates (ggrandparents) moved around 1901/2? 1900 Census has them still in Ms. 1910 in Ok. Henry Alonzo (Lon) was still in Ms in 1901 My uncle Wister was born in Harshorn in 1906. Linda said Hartshorne and Quinton are not far from each other. I wonder if they all knew each other? I think it strange and neat that after all these year (100+) we are reconnecting.
