Emil Harry Nathan, my grandpa, born 12/7/1892 in South Dakota to a woman with the maiden name of Thurer or Thuerer.Grandpa had several siblings, unknown names. Reportedly the Nathan family came from Kreiss Colony, Odessa, Russia late 1890s. Moved eventually to Boyle Heights in L.A a jewish colony at the turn of the century. Grandpa married Elsie Lee Keller around 1915 and they had one child, Gladys Lee Nathan,5/30/17. Any info or speculations would be appreciated.
